well, i for one is guilty of procrastination time after time. guess its a malaysian thingy..

howdy ho dudes and dudettes..

it's been LOONNGGG since i saw any of you, even those right here with me in melbourne :S . i haven't even seen tzemeng for SOOOOO long, which is weird coz i'm so used to seeing him at least every week or so..

i kinda miss the old s2 days, but i love the days now as well.

but life must go on, eh??

how's everyone around the world??(not like there are loads of ppl around the world in every different continent...but hah! i like the sound of it..LOL)

i bet everyone is struggling with their exams and assignments right about now..unlike u melbourne uni ppl who are on holiday!!!! arghhhh...but hehehehehhe!!! i can't wait til mine starts next week..then i'll seee alllll you city ppl there eh..we'll meet up..and prolly jcheu in nz can fly over if you have the cash and the time????since you're quite near to us whatt...LOL!

does it still rain as much in malaysia??? coz the rain here sux. when and if it does rain.

i freaking missed a whole day of uni because of the rain (well mainly because of me..but who cares??always blame it on the weather. that's the fun of not staying at a place with no weather changes)

i just realized that i sound exactly like what i type. whoaaaaaaa....not that i'm surprised. gee

issac..i've met loads of ppl here who can really really really play the guitar and can sing really really well..so technically, i've met loadsa issac kinda ppl around here.. LOL

oh..and i've an albert-like friend as well! he drives a bmw (like albert) and is lameeeeeeeee(like albert!)!!!!! at least some of his jokes are, but he's nice also lah (like albert)...maybe not so fugly though.....hahhahahahahha!! :P oh..and he's very atheletic too!! (like albert). i think i just met albert's soulmate. hmmm

Monash’s scholarship ceremony was held on Tuesday and I’m so proud to mention that 4 out of the 9 S2-rians here are scholars!! Woohoo.

scholarship presentation ceremony was not as grand and involved as many people as it did in taylor's last year.

Anyway, congrats to renjiun, kwanchian and chuisan. All can belanja us makan soon, hor? Now that they’ve gotten their cheques =p hehe.

well, yea, i know they arent from our class, but it has me and steven in it! =p

that was tuesday. we had an all-S2 meet-up on monday for lunch. that was the only day where everyone had the same lunch break. it was nice catching up with everyone again, laughing and chatting. got kinda carried away till i didnt get to finish my lunch in time. eek. made it to lecture just in time. phew.

Last last week (beginning of april).. the government has posted an article in the newspapers concerning those who deferred NS. we are given the last chance to take NS this june 2006 intake. after that the gov will take LEGAL action against u and me...

i am not sure if we can still hand in our deferment form.. but i still tried

5G;
- go to the NS website and download the 'borang penangguhan 2'
- go dig back the defferment cert that they give u the last time u deffered
-go fill in the serial number of the cert into the form
- go post it FAST!
- go jail if we didnt make it ..hahaha

ps; sorry 4 inflictin this terror upopn u guys. dun panic.. the worst that could happen is dat we meet each other in the NS camp this coming June

hi hi. emm..blogging here cos i'm dying of boredom =p

right now, all of us would have left for aussie/nz/monash for uni. (with the exception of our dear dugong who's in trinity + naichen, ruying, leexein, albert)

anyway, just wanted to wish everyone all the best!!
uni life is definitely not gonna be a bed of roses. personally, my timetable's rather hectic, with 3-hr long lab sessions each time. ergh. however, we S2-rians are a happy happy fun-filled bunch, no?
we dont just study study study. (i know how noisy we can get). hehe. have fun guys!!
it's the time to make new friends from around the world and join clubs =)

Just'd like to wish you all good luck and farewell. I hope to meet you all again yea...cause I know Ill miss all of you. You all have been really great classmates but most importantly friends, and I am sure that you all feel the same.

well, just a lil info on the place we'll be bunking in.

it's called AB Motel at Pantai Cenang.

we'll be staying in chalets which each has 2 queen-size beds.

all chalets come equipped with air-conditioning, refrigerators and hot/cold water showers.

they should have toilet rolls...no need for A4 paper la, but dont think they'll be providing any of the lil toiletry packs you see in hotels.

there's even satellite TV!! =p

and yup, it's at DA BEACH!!!

but sadly, no pool. HOWEVER, it's possible to crash into other pools, no? =p

well, SAM has ended, sadly. but farewells are just part and parcel of life.

it was truly a whole year of fun and excitement, and not to mention the friendships formed along the way.

we started the year with great enthusiasm and curiosity about how our subs, our lecturers , our classmates will be like, wether taylor's is truly as what it's famous for.

and 10 months down the road, i'm pretty sure we have the answers to those questions.

subs?
to some, the subs are a breeze to them, but to some others, like me, none of the subs were exactly kacang putih. :p
i, personally, found spec maths EXTREMELY tough to score in.

however, S2 has been very fortunate, i must say, to have a group of wonderful and dedicated lecturers.
it's amazing how the lecturers make these tough subs seem pretty easy to understand.
for this, i offer them my greatest gratitude. :D

classmates
they've been a terrific bunch of friendly, brilliant, unique and some rather hyperactive and loud buddies. :p
our class had our share of ups and downs, yet, we remained throughout as a class, always being there for one another.
to me, they are ohana. (family)
S2 and college life just would not be the same without each and every one of them.

i love taylor's!!!
i have absolutely no regrets of registering for SAM here!!
they've got good facilities, lots of yummy eateries around, good lecturers and taylor's has to be the most happening college around!!
with some sort of roadshow or promotion ever so often around the campus, there has never been a day of boredom at taylor's. hehe.

oh well.

okie dokie.

so trials has finally ended. THANK GOD for that!!! but then here comes the finals, and honestly, i'm not very much looking forward to it. coz that would mean only two things:

a) the end is near, SAM is ending soon, and we won't be alllll together in ONE class anymore..seperation..it's quite hard isn't it?? we won't be able to sit in class anymore, all next to each other, listening or chatting with the lecturers, copying notes, rushing for datelines...so on so forth...we won't be able to stress out together anymore b4 exams, or huddle close together at the tables during lunch..but i guess that's not here yet, and there's no time like the present!!so i guess it'll be best if we just go on with the current life and try to cherish as many memories as possible, for i believe we'd all remain close to each other's heart no matter how far. as long as we keep in touch, i guess it won't be as bad as things may get.

i had a long talk with clement yesterday, and boy, i miss that kid la....i miss everyone..i miss ruying (had a slight talk with her too)..i miss li xein (can't reach her yet)..i miss nai chen (but i just saw him..so ok ok laa =P) and i miss albert (mr. fugly..ok laa..ok la..maybe he isn't that fugly after all..sheesh..i hope he doesn't read this..^_^)..i hope you're all doing good

b) finals would also show that it is time to move on, and go ahead with the future. and in my honest opinion, my future is looking rather bleak right now. i have no idea wat it is that i want to pursue in my future, and i would rather not make any rash decisions. i'd be stuck with it everyday from then on!!! AHHHHHHH..i respect and salute all of you who have already made your decisions, and i pray the best for you...as for the rest who are as blur as me, hahah...lets make up our minds some day yea????

Yes Denster is quite right, this blog is half dead already. I think it's like this not because we are not keen to write, but I believe many of us struggle to think what to write. yes yes no no? How are we going to keep this blog alive when we leave SAM next year? Do you guys realise it's august already? A few more months and SAM ends. Yes guys, SAM is ending, and we are definitely not going to have another year studying together. How many of us is going overseas next year? I have quite a few names in my mind already. How often will we see each other next year? Even if we want to make a point to do so but everyday routine soon will have us tied down. Anyway, I am really glad to meet you all in Taylors this year. I wish for the best for whatever you do in the future.

well, i guess these past few months have been months of saying farewells...true,it's never easy to say goodbye after months of bonding,but im sure none of us ever regretted being a part of s2,even if it means alot more stress pushin ourselves harder amidst a pool of geniuses,or even if it means we have to come home almost half deaf,stomach cramps due to over-laughin syndrome,or going for dead boring esl classes,or having to withstand extensive bullying or receiving criticisms :S(u guys know wat that means for sum of us)etcetc..do u realise that despite the crazy work load and not so understandable lessons(thats for me only i guess,im pretty slow) we have evrysingle day, at the end of the day,we still haf loads of fun n loads of memories to ponder at the end of sam..suwen, no words can describe how thankful all s2 rians are for that wonderful class proj u did,man,it made me all nostalgic..but thumbs up!!!ur class spiritness is whoaa,n i respect u for that,must be assunta's kind of spiritness ha..thats one thg i see in common btween sriaman n assunta..=)

Ruying, it was superbly superbly great to be able to have ur company again,to be able to catch up with u,n to hang out all over again on friday tho it was juz a short period of time,honestly,i nv knew how much i actually missed ur 'full of sense'ness,ur always so full of logic,thanks for bangin alot of sense into my head for past few months,miss the times we go all wacko during our breaks 2gether with chuisan at Bk..u n ur blurness,ur clumsiness,ur absent mindedness, n thats all the reason y i get along with u so well!!=)anyway i wish u the best in korea,no doubt u'll bcome one sucessful engineer,n ruying hope u'll grow in the LORD,it was definitely no mistake u tagged along to AYA that day u know!god has plans for each n evryone of us including u,n He luvs u !!juz wanted u to know that =)

things will never be the same without nai chen in S2...less one classmate..less one source of lame jokes :D...less one source of laughter..the list goes on and on and on...and it's obvious that we're gonna miss him terribly..but anyway, i suppose it's not so bad as nai chen will be coming back to visit us quite often, and we'll go visit him a lot too..and partly, i'm glad that he's taking a brighter step into the future, so congratulations on getting the scholarship!!!

i don't want to go back to college. :'(

how time flies. 2 weeks of holidays felt really really short. and it seems like i started college not too long ago.

the first day i shifted into my apartment, i was all alone. (the rest are a-level students) it felt really weird, living all by myself. though it wasn't exactly my first time leaving my comfort zone, i missed home. i missed my family, my friends. i missed mum's cooking. i missed ipoh where everything was familiar.
in SJ, i was totally lost.

first day of college was ok. made a couple of friends in the "M" group, got into S2 n the first thing i did in class....look at my classmates. n sadly, no cute guys around :P well, i sat in between lee xein and yng yiing on the first day. and all of a sudden, this girl starts poking my back.

girl : hey, you are michelle, right? amy's friend?
me : yea. *introduces ourselves*
girl : are you from australia?
me : huh? me? nope
girl : no wonder i noticed u didnt have the aussie accent

at that time, this was what was going through my mind. who's this girl? she's so perky n gosh, is she talkative too!!
no rewards for guessing who it is....no one else but HO SU WEN, my very first friend in S2, n i'm glad she and suet ning ar my best friends. :D

the first-day-at-college experience is still vivid in my memory.
trying to recognise classmates, trying to remember names, trying to make new friends (su wen started the now defunct "happening" yum cha gang)

it's now june. we'll be leaving one another soon. who knows what n where we'll be after SAM. but one thing i know for sure, i'm gonna miss everyone!!!

oh well, few hours time, n we'll b back to our routine. c u guys in college!!

So, holidays officially starts today. What's the plan? I don't know about you about what I really long now is just bumming around at home and do nothing. Call me lazy, I don't care. Sometimes you just need some breather to think about certain things which you have put on hold for quite some time. Sometimes we are too caught up with our daily errands which are urgent but not important and fail to see the whole picture through different angles. We stick our heads inside a small box and get ourselves suffocated thinking that people around us are pushing us in further. Think out of the box, they say. Perhaps we should REALLY do that to break the norm and live loud.

And sadly I wont be able to go on the Genting trip. Dont think I have enough stamina to go for most of the rides in one day anyway. Haha.

Stwo blog has been pretty quiet lately huh. It's Mother's Day today. I think all the Mums in the world deserve something today because Mums are forever sacrificial, faithful, unconditionally loving, always available and interceding. I don't know about you people but my thought of me spending less and less time with my parents just scare me somehow. Don't you miss running into your mum's room in the middle of the night for not feeling well or just not sleeping well? 18 years passed and the years to come will never be the same. Mums have done so much but received so little.

Anyway, mid year is less than two weeks. joy. haha. study hard guys.

Really have to give you guys (and gals) a pat on the back. Today's event was wonderful (if I could summarize it in one word). I think we out-did a lot of other stalls and I think there is little room for improvement, judging by the great effort put into this event. To everyone involved, good job on the Choc Bananas, Chic Drumlets and Root Beer Floats! :D ~Hehe~ The chicken drumlets really won the day over for us in my opinion.

And on another topic, I hope Yi Ping gets well soon...

yay! today's a holiday!!!which reminds me that i have to start on chem!!!i thk i'll have to start frm scratch since i dun really know a thing..didnt we all had a blast yest in pyramid????sorry for those who went for sam fest instead!!but also to take this opportunity to thank our newly ordained drebar albert, who so generously agreed to give us a lift in his small car n so kindly dropped us in front of the red carpet..thanks man,i know u honour us..to ruying,chui san,jason s. n ren juin,greatt having to watch a show with u guys!!!!!ru ying n chui san!!!so grateful n indeed a pleasure to have gotten to know u girls this year!!!oh n 'pacifier' was not bad,very funny...oh n yes we have a new name for our dear tzemeng,GARY..hahhahh...oopss...but i know he wouldnt mind it tho..n i nv knew john was so into ice skating,in fact john has quite a few unexpected interests,hmm..tsktsktsk..naughtynaughty eh..but still he's one heck of a 'john'..oh n jason,thanks for touring me round pyramid man,juz for that tiny shop,ughhh!!!n i thought guys were good in directions,nah, i change my mind..to su wen,michelle,issac,steven,tze meng,thanks for the wonderful time,it was so much fun ice skating with u guys!!!will cherish those times,even the times we fall,so to those whom i made them fell,steven and new fren,that little boy...i didnt mean it,but i cant help it!!shy man,was tryin to be like this big sister to that small boy,mana tau,i fell n subsequently,he fell on me..ouchh..shyshy..bet he doesnt want to skate with me anymore..suwen n michelle,they haf this domino effect,once michelle fell,then rite after that suwen fell,it ws tough job pickin her up tho,since she was laughing the whole way!!!!u ppl are hillarious!!!i nv fail to get a good share of laughter frm u guys!!n sorry i couldn make it for dinner,n sorry i had to pull tzemeng along too,cuz i really had to be back,thanks zmeng for the ride!!!really appreciated it!!anyway,guess thats it..will be waitin anxiously for our next trip,or our soon to come bbq by the beach trip!!!cheers to this new ring of frenship!!!luv u guys loads..god bless u all

yippee!!!!!!! i had a GREAT time at sunway today!!

i actually went skating!! LOL. though i cant skate at all. the last time i went a few years back was a total disaster and i wasnt exactly looking forward towards it, but i'm glad i went.

yea, i DID fall numerous times, and i'm still a bad skater, but at least i had fun :)
i really enjoyed myself with some of our classmates- tze meng (tze meng's airlines quite unsafe hor?), su wen, issac, yu yee, steven, jason soh, john (who's a fantastic skater)and the rest of the class whom i didnt get to meet cos they left before i reached.

anyway, most of us weren't exactly pro skaters, but i had a good time laughing n just having fun with our classmates. there was this once when su wen and i crashed into each other, n WHAM, we both fell. but we just couldnt stop laughing. sorry su wen.

after skating, su wen, steven and i stayed back for dinner and a movie....we watched different movies though. by the way, waffles at waffle world are YUMMY.

basiacally, it was a pretty successful, fun "class outing"
sure hope there'll be more of such outings soon. *hint*

[my butt still hurts. ouch. n i think most of got some form of injusry from the falls :S]

nothing much interesting happened in coll today...OOHH..except for the market thingie where we went to have lunch..not bad the food there.
LOVED that...hoi tai yeh (sea coconut)..couldn't finish my pan mee though, left bout, the whole bowl there..sigh..i hate wasting food..considering the fact that i didn't finish my dinner as well...(it's 10 plus pm..and i kinda just 'finished' my dinner..woke up really late from my afternoon nap = 3 hours usually, but today..was only for bout..1 hour plus..was on the comp for too long b4 that..and got woken up by a phone call)

physics test over, maths quiz over, issue analysis done, even went shopping, but yet i'm not just feeling very happy today.
*sob* I MISS CLEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes, i do. really badly in fact.

lost not only a classmate, but a lab partner, and most importantly a good friend.

so many things along the way today just reminded me of clement. sigh.
even just waiting for the ktm reminded me of how he "entertained" chui san and i with his jokes n boyish antics when we had to wait for ages to go to mv together.
clement seemed quiet serious in college, but behind that "facade" is a whole different wacky clement.

i never imagined that i'd be missing a classmate that much although we've only known each other for 3 months plus. it's just like sonething's not right. like there's some missing link in our class.

of course, i'd really like him to stay in taylors, but i suppose, if that's what's best for him, he should go ahead.

as u all know, clement has gone back to his hometown, sarawak...leaving S2 short of one brilliant soul..from 25 peeps...we are now 24 peeps...=(..that's so sad!!!! but i believe he'll always remain an S2rian!!!!partly..i'm happy that he has moved on to pursue wut he wishes to do for his own future..it's kinda like a step in his live towards the future...
the other part is just plain sad coz then i won't be able to see clement anymore..it's like losing a slice of my big pie...my pie of friends..and that's sad..really

so..this innocent girl (ahem..cough cough)..was bored..she headed of to the cafeteria..found clement..followed him to 'the web' found the handsome cool sexy nai chen(ahem ahem...upon request :P)..and then..WALAH..we stumbled upon the idea of a joint account between S2rians..
